Katie Eileen

Owner

Katie believes that all of Scripture, from Genesis 1 to Revelation 22, is relevant to her life today; this includes the commandment to wear Tzitziot as found in Numbers 15:37-41 and Deuteronomy 22:12. She works to make Tzitziot because it is something she loves to do. She does not believe that it is a chore or a burden to wear Tzitziot or create them.

Katie believes that we are given the opportunity to wear Tzitziot and make Tzitziot because our King wants His people to be a light unto the world. It is commanded of the people of YHWH to wear Tzitziot. YHWH gave us His Word to follow. Katie does not follow His Word because it will save her; she follows His Word because she is saved. Katie both wears and creates Tzitzot to remind herself and others of all that He has commanded His people to do and to remind everyone of all that He has done, is doing, and will do.

A Bit About Me

Katie holds a Bachelor's Degree in Organizational Management from The Master's University and is passionate about making Tzitziot that have extra meanings tied into them. Through the use of colors, numbers, and different ties, she works to link different Scriptural meanings into one cohesive piece.

Originally from Illinois, California, and Idaho, Katie now lives in southeast Tennessee. Katie was introduced to making Tzitziot in the Spring of 2018 and it became her passion. Throughout the end of 2018 and the beginning of 2019, she worked on making Tzitziot as a side hobby. She enjoys the ministry of making Tzitziot. In the fall of 2019, Fringe For The King was created.
